Does Sam deserve credit for our battling away performances ?
Before i get totally blasted , im asking the question , its not necessarily my opinion.

When martinez took over from moyes and they had a good first season, it was my belief that martinez toom over a solid unit that moyes had built and then, added the flair that you would associate with a martinez side , but also having the benefit of the solid base that moyes built.

The following season Everton lost their shape defensively and struggled a bit more at the back , as martinz influence took a firmer hold in the team.

Now im not suggesting that under Sam we would have secured the brilliant 9 points away from home , but we had some gritty backs to the wall performances last season, and we were so tight as a defensive unit.

Obviously as there was no Ogbonna yesterday , it was aback four that Sam trained and drilled over along period of time.

So ill ask the question , how much of Sams work should we credit for yesterday , or none at all ?

He was mever necessary. He is a charlatan bullshitter who could have quite easily taken us to new depths. The fact that he didn't is not down to his mystical control of the laws of physics as some believe on here.

I'm sorry, are we talking about the same chap who called us a bunch of disillusioned cunts and, described quality football as tippy tappy bullshit ?

no qualms for giving Sam credit for the defence, he bought well in terms of Adrian, Creswell, Collins & Jenkinson and played big part in developing Tomkins & Reid into PL quality partnership, hats off.

Do I give him credit for the performances, nah...simple as

The prick was a parody of his West Ham self today at the Hawthorns. The moaning about West Brom's goal, the gum chewing, the disgruntled interview and facial expressions. Wonderful to watch, especially as we don't have to put up with it anymore.

He was simply some unpalatable medicine that was a necessary evil in the circumstances. (We were in no way the best team in the Championship that year).

He deserves no credit for our current form or success. Some of the players are the same but it is a totally different team.

Sam's achievements for us, reverse order:

3) Roaring the best team in the Championship to third

2) Being such a self-deluded wanker we will still be taking the piss out of him 20 years after he dies

1) Leaving

"Approached for comment in a jacuzzi outside Sunderland, a naked, tanned, glistening Allardyce laughed off the Papal criticism. “He can’t take it! He can’t. He knows I’d out-God God, nine times out of ten.”

OK.

JOB would have come on after 65ish minutes for Payet
CARLTON on the 75 minute mark for Lanzini
and JARVIS would have replace Adrian for the last ten minutes

NO NO NO
We went 1-0 up,got pegged back 2 minutes later under the oaf we would have settled for the draw there and then.
At Sunderland 2 weeks ago we got back into at 2-0 down, under the oaf we would have been lucky to have got a sniff on goal, he would have sat back, soaked up pressure and tried to keep it at 2-0.
He's gone let's just forget the fat negative cunt and be happy that we are 4th in the League and actually look good value for it.
